Connie Sue [Drake] Mincey
June 1, 1942 ~ May 14, 2005

Connie Sue Mincey was born on June 1, 1942 in Olustee, OK to Everett and Edith Drake.

She married Clayton Emory Mincey on June 19, 1960 in Eldorado, OK. She and her husband moved to Tuttle in 1973 and remained until her illness with Alzheimer's disease. She passed from this life on May 14, 2005 in Oklahoma City.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, parents and four sisters. She is survived by her son Lyndon Mincey and wife Stacy, daughter Angie Plumlee and husband Mitch, son Timothy Mincey and wife Michelle, son Anthony Mincey and wife Denna, and seventeen grandchildren all of Tuttle, OK and many nephews and nieces.

She was a wonderful, loving mother and homemaker. She cherished all of her grandchildren. Her kind nature showed even in the last few years of the disease. When she would see her children and grandchildren, she would say, "I don't know who you are, but I know I love you". She would tell everyone she saw they were either pretty or handsome. There was never an unkind word from her mouth. What a wonderful Christian example she has left behind. She will truly be missed.

Funeral services were conducted by Baggerly Funeral Home at the Tuttle Church of Christ on May 17, 2005.

Her final resting place is beside her husband in Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle.
