Geraldine [Womack] Hampton
April 27, 1936 ~ February 5, 2014


Geraldine Hampton, 77, of Blanchard died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Blanchard, Oklahoma. The daughter of Earnest Elijah and Sarah Catherine [Lambert] Womack, she was born April 27, 1936 in Weleetka, Oklahoma.

Geraldine worked for 13 years as a nurse aide for The Children's Center. She was Pentecostal in faith and enjoyed sewing, cooking, and vegetable gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Glen D. Hampton, Sr.

Geraldine is survived by her two sons, Glen D. Hampton, Jr. of McAlester and Ron Hampton of Bridge Creek; her four grandchildren, Angel Russell and her husband, Jay, of Alabama, Tina Mason of Moore, Ronella Collins and her husband, Shawn, of Bridge Creek, and Christopher Hampton of Norman; her ten great grandchildren; her two brothers, Bobby Womack and his wife, Coe, of Meridian and Leon Womack and his wife, Barbara of Meridian; her sister, Joann Womack of Newcastle; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle.

Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard.
