Alvin William Brown
October 21, 1925 ~ December 25, 1994


Funeral service for Alvin William Brown, 69, of Tuttle, OK, was held Tuesday, 12/27/1994, at the First Baptist church of Tuttle. Rev Greg Keenen officiated.

Alvin William Brown was born 10/21/1925 in Tuttle, OK, the son of William Jasper and Dessie Mae [Tolbert] Brown, and died Sunday, 12/25/1994, in Oklahoma City.

Mr Brown lived in the Tuttle area all of his life.

He and Jo Barnett were married 5/28/1978 in Oklahoma City.

Mr Brown built fire trucks for Boardman Company in Oklahoma City. He retired in 1986.

He served in the Navy during World War II. Mr Brown was a member of the Tuttle First Baptist church.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Alma Lee Jones & Iva Ruth Benedetti, and his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Jo, 10 children, 2 sons, Larry Brown of Choctaw, OK, & Jimmy Brown & wife, Teri of Tuttle, 1 daughter, Pam Burkes & husband, Don of Arcadia, OK, 7 special children & their spouses, Paul & Carol, Linda & Carl, Sharon & Tim, Delores, Kelly & Karen, Ramona & Jeff, and Keith & Sheri, 2 sisters, Wilma Robinett of Blanchard, OK, & Ruby Gurley of Oklahoma City, 2 brothers, J.W. Brown of Tuttle, & Calvin Brown of Oklahoma City, 25 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Tuttle Sevier funeral home.

Jo Frances [Nutt] Brown
February 16, 1926 ~ August 28, 1995


uneral service for Jo Frances Brown, 69, of Tuttle, OK, was held Wednesday, 8/30/1995, at the Sowers Memorial chapel, Tuttle. Rev Lloyd Bishop officiated.

Jo Frances Brown was born 2/16/1926 in Werumka, OK, the daughter of Tom J. & Minnie Myrtle [Woodruff] Nutt, and died Monday, 8/28/1995, in Oklahoma City.

She & Alvin W. Brown were married 5/28/1978 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death.

Mrs Brown came to Tuttle, from Oklahoma City, in 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 1 grandson, Leon Bruner.

Survivors include 3 sons, Paul Barnett & wife, Carol of Midwest City, W. Kelly Barnett & wife, Karen of Moore, and Keith Barnett & wife, Sherri of Edmond, 4 daughters, Linda Wagner & husband, Carl of Monteno, ILL, Sharon Daugherty & husband, Tim of Plano, TX, Delores Barnett of Oklahoma City, and Ramona Mostajabi & husband, JaFar of Athens, TN, 4 sisters, Wanda Green of Oklahoma City, Ethel Netherland of Oklahoma City, Lois Cox of Oklahoma City, and Georgia Hank, 1 brother, Billy Paul Nutt, 20 grandchildren, & 7 great grandchildren.

Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier funeral home of Tuttle.
