George Lee Waldron
October 24, 1917 ~ December 10, 1989


Funeral services for George Lee Waldron, 72, Tabler, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 1989, in the Chapel Sevier Funeral Home, Rev. Mike Butler, Sharon Baptist Church, will be officiating.

He was born October 24, 1917, in Poteau, and died Sunday, December 10, 1989, in Oklahoma City.

George moved to the Tabor area in 1934. He married Ella Helene Brunt on July 3, 1937, in Anadarko.

They started the Waldron Station and Grocery of Tabor in 1941 which they had owned and operated since that time.

Mr Waldron is survived by his wife Ella Helene Waldron of the home; two daughters, Sonja Ann Scott of Tuttles, Helene Diane Faulkner of Oklahoma City; three sons, Dale Lee of Midland, Texas, Gale Brunt Waldron of Oklahoma City, Gary Dean Waldron of Moore; one sister Donna Faye Fitzpatrick of Chickasha.

Interments under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Ella Helene [Brunt] Waldron
April 7, 1920 ~ September 14, 2007


Funeral service for Helene Waldron, 87, longtime Chickasha area resident, will be held 1:30 pm Tuesday September 18, 2007 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday September 16, 2007 at Sevier Funeral Home.

Helene Waldron was born April 7, 1920, in Tabler, Oklahoma the daughter of James Woodard and Annie Louella [McMasters] Brunt and died September 14, 2007 in Norman, Oklahoma.

Helene was born and raised in the Tabler area. She married George Waldron July 3, 1937 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. They raised their children in Tabler and also owned and operated Waldron's Gas and Grocery Store for 54 years. After her husband's death and her illness, she moved to Heartland Plaza in Moore, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by: Husband: George Waldron; Parents; Sisters: Thelma Nance, Edith Orr, Pauline Brunt, and Corene Black; Grandsons: Steve Waldron and Rodney Waldron.

Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law: Dale and Sue Waldron of Midland, Texas; Gale and Verna Waldron of Oklahoma City; Gary and LaVonda Waldron of Oklahoma City; two daughters and sons-in-law: Sonja and Leroy Scott of Tuttle; Diane and Ed Faulkner of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister: Hazel Taylor.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Steven Dale Waldron, 40, of Taos, N.M., will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2002, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Okla.

Steven Dale Waldron was born July 5, 1961, and died on Wednesday, May 29, 2002.

Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Graveside service for Steven Dale Waldron, 40, of Taos, New Mexico, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2002, at the Fairlawn Cemetery.

Steven Dale Waldron was born July 6, 1961, in Odessa, Texas. Steve went home with the Lord May 29, 2002, at his residence in Taos, New Mexico. Steven moved to Midland in 1963. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School.

He was employed by Co-Ex Pipe Company and had served as president of Alpha Equipment Inc.

Survivors include: son, Steven Lee Waldron, of Midland; parents, Dale and Sue Brown Waldron, of Midland; sister, Marsha Waldron Matthews and husband, Scott, of Phoenix, Arizona; niece, Marcee Carol Teaff, of Phoenix; nephew, Sean Waldron Matthews, of Phoenix; grandmother, Helene Brunt Waldron, of Chickasha; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
