Tressa D. Robinett was born March 22, 1927. She died Wednesday, July 28, 2005 in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services for Tressa D. Robnett, 78, of Chickasha will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 1, 2005, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with Jimmy Brackeen officiating and Sister Alice Wendling assisting.

Tressa D. Robnett was born March 22, 1927, in Ryan, Oklahoma, the daughter of James S. Ball and Henryetta Chisum Ball. She died Wednesday, July 28, 2005 in Oklahoma City.

Tressa grew up in Ryan, Oklahoma. She attended and graduated from Union Valley High School. After high school she married R. D. Robnett, from Terrell, Oklahoma.

She worked many years as a caregiver for the elderly and disabled. She owned and operated Robbie's Café, North of Chickasha, for many years. After her husband's death, she owned and operated Ardie's Fashions. She met and developed many lasting friendships with many of her customers from both businesses.

Tressa was a devoted mother and strived to prepare her children for the future as they grew up.

Moma's hobby and talent was writing poetry. She desired to have her poetry formatted and booked as a legacy of her to her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R. D.; and both parents.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law: R. D. and Frieda Robnett II, and Tony Robnett; two daughters and son-in-law: Marchetta Raper Steelman, and Tongia and Keith Farris; siblings: Pauline Hudson, Mozelle Allen, Dell (Duckie) Barnes, Cletis Ball, Amy Jo Robnett, and Billy Ball; grandchildren: Robbie and Tina Steelman, Randy and Montycia Steelman, Brandy Lee, R. D. and Amanda Robnett III, Chad and Marilee Robnett, Brian Farris, and Christy Callahan; great grandchildren: Devin, Trenton, and Tyler Robnett, Tylor Lee, Jade, Ryker, and Chloee Steelman, Robbie Dale, Jr., Gracie, and Jax Steelman, Blake Robnett, and Brian Farris.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
