Betty Jo [Taber] Pool
March 11, 1933 ~ March 19, 2004


Funeral services for Betty J. Pool, 71, of Chickasha, OK, will be held Monday, March 22, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Hatfield officiating.

Betty was born March 11, 1933, in Chickasha, OK, the daughter of Bessie Taber. She died Friday, March 19, 2004, in Chickasha.

Betty grew up in Chickasha, attending Chickasha Public Schools. On June 22, 1948, she married Melvin "Sonny" Pool. She attended Full Gospel Church in Chickasha. Betty enjoyed working in her yard and loved spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were her life.

She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Sonny, on September 29, 2002; one son, Ricky Pool; and two grandsons, Terry Mayhugh and Jeffrey Manning.

Betty is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Betty Jean and Ron Ford and Charlotte and Glen McConnell, all of Chickasha; two sons and daughters-in-law: James and Irma Pool and Montey Shane and Emily Pool, also of Chickasha; two sisters: Maryann Roark of McAlester, OK, and Tressie Summers of Chickasha; two brothers: Bobby Taber and Floyd Taber, both of Chickasha; and nermerous grandchldren and great grandchldren.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

CHICKASHA - Funeral services for Lisa Pool, 44, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 18, 2010, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Lisa Pool was born July 30, 1965. She died June 16, 2010, in Chickasha.

Interment will be in the Pocasset Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Lisa D. Ellis, 44, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 18, 2010, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Lisa D. [Pool] Ellis was born July 30, 1965, in Chickasha, the daughter of Edsel and Juanita [Christian] Pool. She died June 16, 2010, in Chickasha.

She grew up in the Friend and Amber area and graduated from Amber Pocasset High School.

She was a loving and caring person, always willing to help anyone in need. She always had a smile on her face and a positive attitude towards life. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and socializing, but her greatest passion was being a mom.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Michael Ellis; two sons: Stanton and Kyle Ellis; parents: Edsel and Juanita Pool; mother-in-law, Melba Ellis; special friend, John; three brothers: Edsel Leon Pool and wife, Patricia, Jimmy Pool and Ronald Gene Pool, all of Chickasha; two sisters: Louise Dresser Davis and husband, Jay and Belinda Horstkoetter and husband, Terry, all of Moore, Oklahoma; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
