Funeral for Faye L. Maloney, 69, of Chickasha will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2005 in New Hope Baptist Church in Chickasha with Pastor Al Walter officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Fletcher-Jefferson Funeral Chapel. Maloney died August 1, 2005 at a local care center.

She was born to Dennis & Gussie Hoffman on January 20, 1936 in Chickasha.

She graduated from Lincoln High School in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Faye worked at Grady Hospital as a ward clerk before joining the Chickasha clinic now known as Southern Plains Medical Center. She loved her work and was there for 22 years.

She later joined the Walmart family, who became in her words, "a family above family."

She accepted Christ at an early age at New Hope Baptist Church and remained a faithful member for many years serving in the choir and playing the piano.

Faye's joy was her granddaughter.

Cherishing her memory are her daughter, Gene Lewis, her granddaughter, Kendra Lewis, family, many friends, and her beloved church family.

She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, two brothers and a sister.
