Geneva [Bostick] Lynch

Funeral service for Geneva Bostick Lynch, age 68 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2006, in the Bible Baptist Church. Rev. Kim Hayes will officiate.

Geneva was born the daughter of James Harris Bostick and Georgia Mae Allenbaugh Bostick on December 11, 1937, in Tabler, Oklahoma. She died on July 20, 2006,in Chickasha.

She married James A. Lynch, Sr. in August of 1972.

Geneva lived in this area much of her life and graduated from Friend School. She worked in the health care industry for many years as a medical assistant. Geneva worked at Chickasha Nursing Home, Shanoan Springs Nursing Home, and Grady Memorial Hospital.

She enjoyed cooking and loved to sew. Geneva loved her grandchildren and her children, but especially loved the grandchildren. She loved country western music. In her healthier days, she loved traveling along with her husband, Jim, to several places on group tours, meeting people and sightseeing. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Edna Marrs and Virginia Roseburg, and one daughter, Rhonda Suson-Chandler.

Survivors include: brother: Frank Bostick of Greenfield, Indiana; niece & husband: Deborah & Danny Owens of Mansfield, Texas; niece: Sherry Stovall of Burleson, Texas; son & wife: Dwight & Nancy Suson of Gatesville, Texas; son & wife: James & Sherry Lynch of Chickasha; son: Eddie Lynch of Ft. Worth, Texas; son: Louis Lynch of Ft. Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, numerous other family & friends.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
