Graveside service for Dr. Carole Ann Golden, 64, of Utah, will be held at 2:00 a.m., Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha.

Dr. Carole Ann Golden died October 29, 2006 in Utah. She was born in Los Angeles, California.

Carole lived and attended school in Blanchard, Oklahoma where she graduated in 1958. She received her Bachelors Degree from Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts in 1963.

She received her MS and PhD in microbiology and immunology in 1973 from Miami of Ohio.

Her first position after receiving her PhD was at the University of Utah College of Medicine.

In 1978, Carole made a move from academics to industry when she became Vice President and Scientific Director for Microbiological Research Corporation in Bountiful, Utah.

In 1987 she moved to North Carolina where she served as Vice President of Research and Development for Editek [Medtox Diagnostics] and later for Xanthron.

Carole returned to Utah in 2003 to work once again in the academic setting at Utah State University as Life Science Manager of Technology Commercialization at the Research Foundation.

A sister, Deborah Jean Golden, and her grandmother, Nora Hasting, preceded Carole in death.

She is survived by: her mother, Betty Golden Graves, her stepfather, Wendale Graves of Akron, Colorado; and three step-sisters; aunt and uncle: Bill Richey and Weetie Golden Richey of Chickasha; cousins: Hylar Rickley of Portland, Oregon; Jennifer McKinnon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Carole will be missed deeply by McRee Krivanec, a special friend of twenty years and many "adopted" children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Carole's memory to Huntsman Cancer Foundation, 500 Huntsman Way, Salt Lake City, Utah 84108.

Bobby Don Golden
December 13, 1946 ~ November 20, 2016


Bobby Don Golden, son of James Dixon & Ethel Beatrice [Matney] Golden, was born on December 13, 1946 in Kingston, Oklahoma. He died on November 20, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Bobby served in the US Army during the Vietnam war.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Anna Lou Deaton, Yvonne Carroll and Lucille Thompson and his brother, Jackie Golden

Bobby is survived by his wife, Linda Golden, four daughters, one step-son, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, one brother-in-law.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha.
