Scott Dwayne Frenchman
November 20, 1968 ~ November 20, 2003

Scott Dwayne Frenchman was born November 20, 1968, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Randall M. and Willa Jean [Capshaw] Frenchman. He passed from this life on November 20, 2003, in Amarillo, Texas, at the age of 35, as a result of injuries suffered in a traffic accident.

Scott grew up in Chickasha and Anadarko, and graduated from Anadarko High School. He moved to Bentonville, Arkansas, one year later, and was employed by Walmart. He moved to Amarillo two months ago, but was getting ready to go back to Bentonville. He was crazy about his kids, and his second love was music. He played the guitar and keyboard, and had played in several bands.

Scott was preceded in death by his father in 2001. Survivors include his 4 children, Travis and April Anderson, Keith and Amanda Frenchman, all of Bentonville; his mother, Jeannie Frenchman of Chickasha; 2 brothers, Randy Franchman and wife Rolanda of Newcastle, and Richard Frenchman of Chickasha; 3 sisters, Melissa Frenchman, Jennifer Johnson and husband Mark, and Rebecca Frenchman and companion Marco Camargo, all of Chickasha; one aunt, Cindy Montenegro and husband Vincente of Dallas, TX; 2 uncles, Ron Bacon of Hodges, Oklahoma, and Roy Bacon of Lawton; 13 nieces and nephews, many other relatives, and a wide circle of loving friends.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, at the Word of Life Fellowship, 16th and Florida, Chickasha, Oklahoma, with the pastor Rev. Ronald Faulkinberry officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery north of Chickasha, under the direction of Steverson Funeral Home. Casket bearers will be Don Nelson, Mark Johnson, Quinton Johnson, Richard Frenchman, Randy Frenchman and Jessie Dean.
