Ellen Ruth [Benson] Osborn
July 2, 1912 ~ August 18, 2006


Funeral services for Ellen Ruth Osborn, 94 of Minco were held Sunday, August 20, 2006, 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Minco with Rev. Bob Denny and Rev. Steve Shellhammer officiating.

Ellen Ruth Osborn was born July 2, 1912 at Venus, Texas to William Walker and Lula (Trippet) Benson and died Friday, August 18, 2006 at El Reno.

She lived in the Minco and Pocasset communities for 81 years, since the age of 13.

Ellen was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Minco.

She married Frankie James Osborn on November 14, 1932.

She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Lula Benson; her husband: Frankie James Osborn on 8-10-1977; a son: James Roy Osborn on 4-16-1999; one granddaughter: Lori Lee Vickrey.

Survivors include: One daughter and son-in-law: Norma and Eugene Vickrey of Minco; one daughter-in-law: Carolyn Osborn of Oregon; one sister: Doris Orahood of Oklahoma City; one sister-n-law: Erma Benson of Blackwell; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
