Funeral service for Maxine Palmer, 79, of Alex, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m, Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at the Southern Baptist Church of Alex.

Maxine Palmer was born July 15, 1926 in Alex, Oklahoma the daughter of Clyde and Minnie Ethel [Boswell] Morris and died January 15, 2006 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Maxine lived in Alex most of her life. She and Jess Palmer were married May 25, 1973 in Alex, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by: parents, 4 brothers: Harvey Hart, Hack Hart, George Morris and Woodrow Morris, 1 sister: Helen Smith, infant daughter.

Survivors include: husband: Jess Palmer of the home; 1 daughter and son-in-law: Irene and Terry Cook of Alex; granddaughter and husband: Barbie and Mack Lindsay of Duncan; grandson and wife: Robert and Trisha Cook of Alex, 5 great grandchildren: Tim Lindsay, Taylor Jessiekah and Erick Cook of Alex; Josh Lindsay of Duncan; 3 brothers: Hollis Morris of Alex, Sammy Morris of Woodward, Ed Morris of Ponca City; 3 sisters: Ollie Thomas, Ruth Mainka, Beth Mainka all of Bradley.

Interment will be in the Bradley Cemetery Under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
