Robert Calup Fullerton
January 15, 1936 ~ May 14, 2009


Robert Calup Fullerton, 72, of Duncan, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009, at his home in Duncan.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Bailey, Okla. Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn Parkhurst officiating. Interment will be under direction of Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Robert was born January 15, 1936, in Bailey, the son of James Edward and Mary E. Fullerton. He and Petra Salinas were married at Las Cruces, N.M., on May 15, 1957.

He enjoyed reading and working in the garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Petra Fullerton of the home in Duncan; three sons: Robert W. Fullerton, Jimmy Fullerton and James Fullerton, all of Duncan; two daughters: Patricia Taylor of Velma, and Mary L. Fullerton of Duncan; four brothers: Joe Fullerton of Marlow, Charlie Fullerton of Duncan, Jed Fullerton of Chickasha and David Fullerton of Duncan; a sister, Irene Jureck of New York; seven grandchildren: Billy Burk, John Thompson, Maria Thompson, Michael McConnell, Shawna Taylor, Jennifer Taylor and Michelle Fullerton; and five great-grandchildren.
