Bremond Jason Cozort, of Pauls Valley was born July 18, 1973 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Bremond Edward Cozort and Joyce Williams Cozort. He passed away June 30, 2006 at the age of 32 years in a car accident in Madill, Oklahoma along with his son Mitchell Bremond Cozort, daughter Jasie Kristen Cozort and mother in law Anita Winn.
He was married to Kristie S. Manning in November 1991. He was preceded in death by his father Bremond Cozort and stepfather James E. Ward; grandparents Jasper & Elsie Cozort and Joe Williams.
Jason worked for Garner Lucas Plumbing in Pauls Valley. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years.
Surviving family include his wife, Kristie and daughter Samantha Cozort of the home; his mother, Joyce Ward, of Pauls Valley; 2 sisters, Trevalan Riggle, of Oklahoma City and Dayna Barham, of McAlester; brother, Bradley Cozort, of Murrieta, California; stepsisters, Sheila Danker and Jeri Dillon, both of Wellston, Ok.; grandmother, Elizabeth Williams, father in law, Dean Manning and Joe Winn, brother in law, Ricky Manning, host of aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins, his 2nd mom & dad, Jim & Carolyn Winkle, and many friends.
A fund has been set up at the Pauls Valley National Bank for the Cozort Family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Kent Risley. Burial will be at Whitebead Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
