Orlis Charles "Charlie" Orr
January 15, 1941 ~ October 10, 2020

Homer Lee Rinehart, was born on January 15, 1941, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, to Homer Rinehart and Eva Opal [Riddle] Rinehart. He was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 10, 2020, at his home with family by his side, at the age of 79.

Homer moved to Lindsay in 1949 and graduated from the Lindsay High School in 1959. After high school he worked in different occupations. In the late 1970’s he opened his own oilfield roustabout business where he stayed until his retirement in 2000. He was a devoted member of the Calvary Baptist Church here in Lindsay.

Homer married the love of his life Bonnie R. Billingsley at the Erin Springs Baptist Church on June 4, 1960. Together they celebrated sixty years of love. They had three daughters, Lisa Renee, Tracey Lynn, and Dana LeAnn. He was a wonderful husband and a loving father.

Homer was a pillar of his church, and he loved to help others. His greatest treasure was his family and the time that he got to share with them. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family in the mountains of Colorado. The remainder of his time he could be found working in his shop or helping people around town. He was truly a wonderful man that touched the lives of many. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Bonnie Rinehart of Lindsay, his daughters, Lisa Boyd and husband Bill of Broken Arrow, Tracey Wooster and husband Kent of Seminole, Dana Crawford and husband Joe of Lindsay, grandchildren, Kyle Wooster, Lacey Ashby and husband Merrick, Jordan Boyd and wife Casey, Victoria Carlquist and husband Matt, Hannah Crawford, and Sam Crawford, and great grandchildren, Madilynd Kate Ashby and Callie Grace Carlquist.

Homer is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Eva Rinehart, brother, Billy Joe Rinehart, and sister, Mary Ann Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Building fund.

A funeral service to honor the life of Homer is set to begin at the Calvary Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest following the service at the Purdy Cemetery in Purdy, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Scott and Angel Wilbourn of Boydston-Wilbourn Funeral Home in Lindsay. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.boydstonfuneralhome.com
