Funeral services for Lavada Townsel, 99, of Chickasha, Okla., are pending with Fletcher-Jefferson Funeral Chapel.

Lavada Townsel died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, in Lawton, Okla., following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services LaVada Townsel, 99, of Chickasha, Okla., were held at 11 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, in New Hope Baptist Church. Dr. C. W. Whitlow officiated. LaVada Townsel was born Dec. 24, 1905, in Hennepin, Okla., and died on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at her residence, following a lengthy illness.

Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Fletcher-Jefferson Funeral Chapel.
