Funeral services for Kay Yeary Carlton, 56, of Elmore City were held July 12, 2005 at Elmore City First Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce McCray officiating. Services were under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley.
Mrs. Carlton died July 8, 2005 at Norman.
She was born Sept. 16, 1948 in Wynnewood, the daughter of Sal and Lena Mae (Billings) Yeary. She was reared and attended school in Elmore City.
Mrs. Carlton worked for Haliburton and in 1989 went to work for the U.S. Postal Service and was currently postmaster at Wayne. Garvin County had been her home all her life.
She attended the Elmore City First Baptist Church and was a member of NAPUS.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sal Yeary and one brother, Larry Yeary.
Survivors include one son, Bryan Carlton and his wife, Beth, of Edmond; one daughter, Gerri Randolph and her husband, Greg, of Edmond; her mother, Lena Mae Roe of Denton, Texas; one brother, Lonnie Roe and his wife, Paulette, of Pearland, Texas; two sisters, Ruby Cruse and her husband, Tyler, of Corinth, Texas, and Phyllis Cummings and her husband, Howard Lewis, of Denton, Texas, and four grandchildren.
