Dorothy Muer Shi Robertson passed away on June 4, 1996. She was born in Stratford, OK, on September 23, 1910, to Dr. Augustin Henry Shi and Bessie Mabel Jackson Shi. She was educated in the Stratford Public Schools and attended Kidd Key College in Sherman, Texas (later annexed by Southern Methodist University), Oklahoma State University, and finally at the University of Oklahoma, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Home Economics in 1935. She married O.C. "Bud" Robertson on June 14, 1936.

During World War II, the family moved to Oakland, California to aid the war effort. They returned to Norman after the war where they owned and operated Campus Drug, later called Campus Pharmacy and Bud's Campus Shop, on Campus Corner in Norman until their retirement in 1974. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norman, OK, and was active in their Senior Sunday School Class and the Fellowship Singers. She was also a member and officer in her local garden club. She completed the Bible Study Fellowship Program and was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Alpha Phi Sorority, and the OU Adult Fitness Program.

Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed life and was always kind and gracious to everyone. She studied her Bible daily, read books, and enjoyed working crossword puzzles. She was always a joy to be around. During her final years, she endured a great deal of pain and discomfort without complaint, always remaining optimistic and kind.

She was survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mallory R. and James F. Harvey, III, of Norman; and her sister, Josephine Donham, of Maysville; two grandchildren, Douglas Hahn of Portland Oregon, Deven Ann Hahn of Seattle, Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, O. C. Robertson, of 59 years; her parents; and her brother Augustin H. Shi, III.

Mallory R. Harvey is the daughter of O. C. "Bud" and Dorothy (Shi) Robertson.
