Oliver Newton Chandler, 87
father of Mrs. Everett Lee of
Stratford, died Thursday afternoon in Memorial hospital at
Weletka.
Chandler, a resident of Beggs,
was born May 1, 1877 in Missouri. He had lived in Beggs
the last 30 years. He was a
member of the Assembly of God
Church.
Funeral services will be at 2
p. m. Sunday in the Pentecostal
Holiness church in Stratford.
Rev. Ed Philpott will officiate.
Burial will be in McGee cemetery
under the direction of the Stratford Funeral Home.
Survivors include two other
daughters, Velma Chandler and
Mrs. Ora Meadors, both of Kanas; 13 grandchildren and 30
great grandchildren.
