This cemetery is north of Stratford about 2 miles. You can get to it from highway 177. There is a green cemetery sign posted just before the turn whether you are going north or south. Turn back east there and the cemetery is down the road about 7/10 mile, just past the old McGee School building, on the south side of the road. Sec. 14-4N-3E.
If you need further help in locating a specific burial you can call the Stratford City Hall at 580-759-2371. Ask to speak with Tonia Jones. Hours are 7:30 to 4:30 Mon - Fri, but arrangements can be made to meet at the cemetery on weekends if you simply cannot be there during the week. Tonia is working on computerizing the old cemetery records and is more than happy to help and would appreciate your help in naming unmarked burials.
