Claude Jackson
Claude Jackson, the beloved first cousin and classmate of Dorothy Muer Shi, was shot and killed on July 5, 1919 during school summer vacation. Claude and a friend were playing with a gun in the loft of the friend's barn when the gun discharged. The other boy had taken his father's gun from their home. Claude was shot in the head and died instantly.
