Zenia Verbenia Hill French
June 28, 1926 ~ December 2, 2019


Zenia Verbenia [Hill] French, age 93 died December 2, 2019. She was born June 28, 1926 in Lindsay, OK to J.T. and Arminta [Hudgins] Hill.

She graduated from Maysville High School in 1945.

She married John French on December 21, 1944. She stayed at home and raised her children for several years before starting her 23-year career as a surgical tech with Crippled Children’s Hospital, now Children’s Hospital.

Zenia loved her ceramics, doing needle point and working on her crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband John [1989] her son John Ray and her parents.

Zenia is survived by her daughters; Cynitha Hughes and husband Wayne, Sandra Starnes and husband Larry, daughter in law; Linda French, thirteen grandchildren and seventeen + great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Friday, December 6, 2019 at McNeil's Funeral Service with burial to follow in Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, Oklahoma.
