James M. Hearon

Memorial services for James Milburn "Jim" Hearon were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 1971, at the First Baptist Church of Alex, Oklahoma. The officiating clergyman was Reverend Charles Hall, pastor of the church.

Mr. Hearon was born on June 5, 1929, and passed away on August 3, 1971.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Casto Hearon.

Survivors include his mother, Jessie Idene Coggins; step-father, Sam Coggins; one son, Earl Hearon; one daughter, Judy Mutter; a brother, Reese Hearon of Blanchard, Oklahoma; three sisters, Lilly May Matheson, Bobbie Lee Ford, and Barbara Dean Johnson; four grandchildren.

Final resting place was at Lindsay Cemetery in Lindsay, (Garvin County), Oklahoma. Burial was conducted by Jodie and Larry Sevier of the Sevier Funeral Home.
