Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Effie Lee Hearon, age 39, on Tuesday, July 1, 1978, at 10:00 a.m. in the Assembly of God Church, Blanchard, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Hearon was born on September 25, 1938, at Kinta, Oklahoma. She was married to R.E. "Reese" Hearon on August 3, 1955, in Shafter, California. They returned to Oklahoma City in 1961 and came to Blanchard in 1973.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Larry and David of the home and Randy and his wife Brenda of Blanchard; her mother, Mrs. Jewell Douglas, of Olivehurst, California; two brothers, Kenneth and Jerry Douglas, both of Olivehurst; eight sisters, Helen Hays, Kathy Brown, and Vicki Fultz of Olivehurst, Faydean Burks of Seattle, Washington, Naydean Smith of Willits, California, Larue Arriola of Yuba City, California, Freda Keffer of Vacaville, California, and Cleo Maddox of Sweet Home, Oregon; and one grandson.
