Melody [Johnson] Wright

November 7, 1969 ~ April 10, 2012

Melody Johnson Wright was born November 7, 1969 to Robert and Wilbur Johnson.

Melody accepted Christ at an early age.

On June 25, 1996, Melody united with Rodney Wright, and to this union was born three children.

Melody loved life and enjoyed hobbies such as fishing with her sons Tyrell and nuk-nuk, taking care of her family and getting her hair fixed by her oldest son Baby Rodney.

Melody departed this life on April 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, one nephew Johnathan Blake Ransom, and also her Mother-in-law Effie M. Wright.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Rodney L. Wright Sr. of the home; three children Rodney Wright Jr "Baby Rodney", Tyrell Wright "TY", and Airon "nuk-nuk" Wright; her mother Wilbur Johnson all of Pauls Valley, Ok.; her father Robert Johnson of Lawton, Ok; three sisters; Nell Watts (Melvin) of Davis, Ok, Brenda Johnson of Lawton, Ok, and Carla Heath of Wynnewood, Ok; three brothers; Mike (Tracy) Grant of Ada, Ok; Howard Johnson of Lawton, Ok and Gary Johnson of Lawton, Ok; nephew, Johnathan Ransom; two stepchildren, Shanusee Fields and Joseph Tucker. Also left to cherish her memories are a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance. Those officiating are Rev. Herman L. Stevenson, Jr., Rev. Michael Ford, Rev. Scott Thomas, Rev. D. R. Baldwin and Rev. Robert Turner.

Interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
