Fairmont – Services for Mrs. Dora Riekenberg, 72, will be Tuesday at 10 AM in Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church Cemetery.

Mrs. Riekenberg died Thursday in the home of her son, Martin, southwest of Fairmont. A native of Nebraska, Mrs. Riekenberg moved to Fairmont in 1902.

In addition to her son, survivors are three daughters, Mrs. William Schroeder, Fairmont; Mrs. Tom Sears, Bartlesville, and Mrs. C. R. Schultz, Cushing; eight grandchildren and four great – grandchildren.

Riekenberg – Funeral for Fred H. Riekenberg, 74-year-old pioneer Fairmont farmer, was conducted in the Chapel of Henninger Funeral Home Sunday afternoon.

A second service was at Zion Lutheran Church at Fairmont with Rev. E. Pittelko officiating. Burial was in Lutheran Cemetery.

Riekenberg who had been in ill health for seven months, died Thursday evening at his home southeast of Fairmont. His condition did not become serious until Thursday morning.

A resident of Fairmont for the past 39 years, Riekenberg came from Bremen, Kansas, and was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Pallbearers were Roy Johnson, Ernest Peters, John Nobis, John Schroeder, Henry Wyssman and C. M. Eggers.

Survivors include his wife, and four children, Martin of Fairmont, Mrs. W. G. Schroeder of Fairmont, Ms. C. L. Schultz and Mrs. F. E. Sears, both of Bartlesville.

Henninger Funeral Home was in charge.
