Zion Lutheran Cemetery


The funeral for Erna Mittelstaedt, 102, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Tim Dorsch will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Fairmont. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born Feb. 11, 1905, in Jackson, Miss., to Louis H.G. and Sophie M. Bode and died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007.

She was raised in Fairmont and married Andrew Mittelstaedt April 12, 1925. He died Aug. 1, 1976. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Surviving are one son, Ted Mittelstaedt of El Reno; two daughters, Adella Sikes of Aurora, Colo., and Armilda Tisdale of Raymond, Miss.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband, Andrew, she was preceded in death by one sister.
