Etta Florine LESEBERG McCOY

APPLE VALLEY, CA — Graveside services for Etta Florine (Leseberg) McCoy, 69, of Apple Valley, California, will be Sunday, November 20, 2011, at 2 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Fairmont, with Pastor Timothy Dorsch officiating and under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Etta Florine (Leseberg) McCoy, 69, of Apple Valley CA, was born on February 15, 1942, in Covington OK, the daughter of Hilda and Ewald Leseberg and passed away peacefully in Victorville CA on November 16, 2011. She married Mickey McCoy, who preceded her in death. Etta moved to Fairmont with her family at an early age, where she attended the Lutheran School through the 8th grade. She then attended the Garber School System, graduating from Garber High School with the class of 1959. She worked several years in hospitals in Oklahoma and California as a nurse aide. The last ten years she was employed with Beckman, Inc., where she made medical equipment, retiring due to health reasons.

In addition to her husband, Etta was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Donald and Robert Leseberg of Oklahoma, and Howard Leseberg of California; and her longtime companion of 25 years, Stan Campbell.

She is survived by her sisters Wandalene Free of Enid OK and Mary Gressett of Garland TX; brother Louis Leseberg and wife Linda of Orange CA; Rose and Ron Emick of Lake Forest CA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
