Zion Lutheran Cemetery


Near Fairmont
Funeral services for the Rev. Amil Maehr, 84, retired Lutheran minister, were held Sunday afternoon from the Lutheran church at Fairmont and the remains interred in Zion Lutheran cemetery. Mr. Maehr had lived in the Fairmont vicinity for 35 years and was the founder of the Fairmont Lutheran church. He is survived by his widow, two daughters and five sons.

Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson, Mrs. Tena Johnson, Miss Henrietta Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Froemming and son, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Ehlers, Mrs. Rebecca Ehlers, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Brakhage and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pautsch were among those who attended the funeral of Rev. Maehr at Fairmont Sunday afternoon.
