The funeral services for Mrs. Eva Lutjemeier, 76 years of age, who died Sunday morning at her home in Fairmont, were held Tuesday afternoon, with a brief service at the home followed by services in the German Lutheran church at 2:30 o'clock. Interment was made in the German Lutheran cemetery at Fairmont.
Mrs. Lutjemeier is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alvina Plyor of Fairmont, and Mrs. Mary Clinefelt of Benton, Ore., and two sons, Herman of Fairmont and Dick of Grand Island, Nebr. The body was prepared for burial by the Dunlavey funeral home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Lutjemeier, Garfield county pioneer, who passed away at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lutjemeier, in Fairmont early Sunday morning, were held from the Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Hy Mueller in charge of the services. Mrs. Lutjemeier had been in failing health for a year. Born in Germany, 76 years ago, she immigrated to this country while young, and in 1881 was united in marriage to Mr. Deidrick Lutjemeier. Mr. Lutjemeier preceded her in death just one year. Surviving relatives are two daughters, Mrs. Alvina Pryor of Fairmont, Mrs. Mary Klinefeldt of Bend, Ore., two sons, Dick of Grand Island, Nebr., and Herman of Fairmont. Other near relatives are three grandchildren. Interment in the Zion Lutheran cemetery.
