Fairmont Vicinity
Our hearts go out in sympathy to the Johnson and Hamann families because of the death of Mrs. Ed Johnson Wednesday. Mrs. Johnson passed away at the Baptist hospital after being ill only a few hours. Death was caused from diabetes. Mrs. Johnson who was twenty years old, was Miss Olga Hamann before her marriage January 1st, 1929. She was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hamann, deceased. Surviving her are her husband, a daughter, Maxine, two years old, three sisters, Mrs. Anna Peters, Mrs. Martha Hiatt and Mrs. Clara Kreithe, also two brothers, Ed Hamann of Fairmont and Clarence Hamann who left last Sunday for Hollywood, Calif., and who was the only one not present at the funeral services, which were held Friday from the Lutheran church with Rev. Mueller conducting the services and interment made in the Zion Lutheran cemetery. Mrs. Johnson, who had spent her entire life in the Fairmont community, will be sadly missed by a host of sorrowing relatives and friends.
