Leona L. JENKINS
The funeral service for Leona L. Jenkins, 94, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Rev. Kenneth Wade will officiate. Burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Fairmont, Okla. Arrangements by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Leona was born Jan. 7, 1916, on a farm northeast of Breckinridge, Okla., to Louis and Hulda (Mueller) Schultz and died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, in Enid.

She attended school at Immanuel Lutheran in Breckinridge. She married George Jenkins July 19, 1936, in Breckinridge. He preceded her in death.

Leona grew up in the Breckinridge area and later lived in Garber, then Fairmont and finally in Enid since 1985. She was a member of Nu-Way Club of Garber and Lutheran’s Women’s Auxiliary Club in Breckinridge and Garber. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Darla Albright of Enid, Okla.; four grandchildren, Kenda Morris of Enid, Dustin Albright of Enid, Lori Millard of San Pedro, Calif., and Ronna Luna of San Pedro, Calif.; seven great-grandchildren, Jordan, Carsyn, Megan, Shelbie, Grant, Macy and Taylor; brother, Leroy Schultz of Breckinridge; and loving caregivers, Leanna and Mary Lou

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; son, Rick; daughter, Juanelda; brothers, Orville and Alwin Schultz; and sister, Laura Hatterman.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds
