The funeral for Juanita Mae Jack will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020, at Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont. Pastors Mark Blakeman and Timothy Dorsch will officiate. Masks are required while in the Church and social distancing will take place. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Fairmont. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will be 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2020, at the funeral home.

Juanita was born Jan. 23, 1939, on the family farm in Fairmont, Okla., to Christian F.G. and Louise D. (Brandhorst) Froemming and passed away Aug. 29, 2020, in Enid. As an infant, she was baptized at home and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church. She attended Zion Lutheran Parochial School and graduated from Garber High School in 1957. On Valentine's Day, 1959, Juanita married Robert Lee Jack at Zion Lutheran Church and made their home in Enid where she thrived being a homemaker.

Being very artsy, she enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, oil and china painting and even decorating cakes. Following her love of quilting, Juanita made over 200 baby quilts for family, friends and church members. She also sewed several Christening dresses. Above all, Juanita loved spending time with her family and will always be remembered as an old-fashioned country girl.

Juanita was a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church, past member of Ladies Aid and a longtime member of Garfield County Republican Women's Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Arlen Froemming; sister, Alice Froemming-Albright and an infant son.

Juanita is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert, of the home; daughter, Lorie Legere and husband, Jack of Enid; daughter, Nancy Ellington and fiancé, Gene Long of Enid; grandchildren, Caleb Ellington of Edmond; Sarah Wyssman and companion, Tim Johnson of Enid; step grandchildren, Andre Legere; April Legere and Stephanie Criner; a large host of step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Norman Froemming of Glendale, Ariz., and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Memorial donations may be given through the funeral home to Zion Lutheran Church Preschool or Hospice Circle of Love.
