FAIRMONT — Funeral service for Noreita Kay Eggers, 67, of Fairmont, Okla., will be 10 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont, Okla., with Pastor Timothy Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery with arrangements by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Kay was born March 5, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Okla., and died Monday, April 4, 2011, in Enid. Her parents were Conard and Nora Schminke of Marshall, Okla.

She graduated from Covington High School and attended Oklahoma State University.

She married Ronald Eggers July 20, 1963. They made their home on a farm near Fairmont.

She worked as an income tax preparer and later as a real estate agent.

She was active in Zion Lutheran Church Ladies Aid, LAF Group and Vacation Bible School.

Kay is survived by her husband Ronald; two sons, Rodney and wife Dawn of Louisburg, Kan., and Rick and wife Shyla of Stillwater; four grandchildren; one brother, John Schminke and wife Darla; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sisters.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or American Cancer Society.

The funeral service for Ronald W Eggers, 74, Fairmont, is 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Timothy Dorsch officiating. Interment follows in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Fairmont. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at the funeral home.

Ronald was born April 27, 1942, in Enid, the son of E.J.C. and Kathryn Lemke Eggers, and passed away April 3, 2017. Ronald attended schools in Fairmont and Douglas, and graduated from Oklahoma State University. He was united in marriage to Noreita Kay Schminke on July 20, 1963, in Fairmont. Ronald farmed most of his life and was also employed by OG&E until he retired in 1994. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where he served in various capacities and enjoyed singing in the choir.

Survivors include two sons, Rodney and his wife Dawn of Louisburg, Kan., Rick and his wife Shyla of Stillwater, four granddaughters, Jordan, Alexandra, Carson and Emily, two sisters, Evelyn Wyssmann and Evonne Gash, in-laws, John and Darla Schminke, numerous nieces and nephews and his dear friend, Barbara Janssen.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay, his parents, a sister Elaine Eggers, an infant sister and two brothers-in-law, Homer Wyssmann and Charles Gash.

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
