Ralph was born October 9, 1931, in Enid to Martin and Nelda (Kramer) Meier, and passed away November 14, 2021. He grew up in Enid, attending Enid Public Schools and Phillips University. He lived his entire life in the Enid area.

He had many hobbies; he loved hunting and fishing, repairing small engines, and was a carpenter. He built the house on the farm for his family and could fix almost anything. He was a very good marksman. He loved the sports of boxing and rodeo. He boxed in high school and rode the rodeo circuit for two years. He loved horses best of all animals.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Enid, for 52 years. He transferred to Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont, OK, and was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod all his life. He held many offices in the church and loved Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, with all his heart.

He is survived by his wife Lora of the home; sons, Martin Meier, Matthew Meier and wife Sheryl, Mark Meier and wife LaDonna; step-children, Jim Chrisman and wife Caren, Kenneth Chrisman and wife Theresa, Greg Evans and wife Bonnie, Bruce Chrisman and wife Stacy; and former wife, Lillian Smith; as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends.

Ralph was a great-hearted, caring and loving man of God. We will miss him so very much but thank God he was a special part of our life's journey! He was a great son, loving and faithful husband, loving father and step-father, a very honest, considerate man, a true friend to many.
