WOMAN DIES ON ROAD
Mrs. Welkenhorst aged about 50 years, died about noon Tuesday while on the way from her home near Woodard to Lahoma. She was in a dying condition as a result of complications following an attack of influenza last winter and wanted to be brought here to die and be buried beside her father, a Mr. Herman, who was buried here years ago in the Lutheran cemetery. The family formerly resided near Ringwood.
Death came west of Fairview and the body was brought on here by her daughter and brother, where M. W. Wood cared for the body.
Funeral arrangements were not complete Thursday, but it is expected that the funeral will be held in the Lutheran church here today, followed by interment in the Lutheran cemetery.
