Anna Marie JOHNSON RENKEN
FINAL RITES THURSDAY
Funeral service for Anna Marie Renken, 86, who died Monday in a local hospital following a period of ill health, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Zion Lutheran Church at Lahoma with Re. William K. Hannusch officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral home. A family prayer service will be held at 1:45 p.m. in the Parrish Hall of the church. The body will lie in state at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time. In lieu of other remembrances, those who desire may make contributions to the Zion Lutheran Church of Lahoma in Mrs. Renken’s memory. Henninger-Allen and the church will serve as custodian of funds.

Mrs. Renken was born April 10, 1882, at Yokomis, Ill, and married Herman Renken April 3, 1902, at Alcester, SD. They moved to a farm southwest of Enid in 1903 and in 1912 to the Covington-Douglas community. In 1920 they moved to a farm northwest of Lahoma. Renken preceded her in death in 1944 She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Lahoma.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Marie) Schroeder, Lucas, KS: four sons, George and Harold of the home, Henry, Oklahoma City, and Elmer of Wichita, KS: nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.: four sisters, Mrs. Marie Kehnemund, Isabella, Mrs. Martha Constein, Hinton, Miss Henryetta Johnson, Ringwood, and Mrs. Lena Pereboom, Enid, two daughters-in-law. She was preceded in death by one grandson, four brothers and a sister
