CHARLES HOLZ DIES
Charles Holz, aged 62 years, 3 months and 11 days, died at his home here Saturday night following an illness of many months with cancer. He had been a resident of this community for many years.
He was taken ill last year and has been gradually growing worse since that time. An operation a few months ago at an Enid hospital disclosed that he had cancer in a hopeless stage and he was brought back to his home.
The wife, two sons, Edward and Fred; three daughters, Rosa, Elna, and Tillie Holz and other relatives survive him. One son, Albert, died of influenza in an army camp during the World War.
Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church here at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Roesel delivered the funeral sermon. Burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery
