DEATH OF OLD RESIDENT
Henry A. Ehlers, aged 77 years, died at his home here about 11 o'clock Tuesday night as a result of heart trouble. He had been in failing health for a year or more and seriously ill for several weeks. He had apparently overcome his illness and had been able to be up for a few days.
The night of his death, he was apparently feeling much better and told members of his family who visited at his home during the evening, as much. After retiring, death came as he slept.
Mr. Ehlers had resided on his farm near Lahoma for many years, moving to town about two years ago.
Surviving him are his widow, three sons, George, John and Henry C. Ehlers, all of Lahoma; one daughter, Mrs. John Croisant, of Humbolt, Ks., one brother in Missouri and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held starting at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home followed by services at the Lutheran church.
Burial will be made in the Lutheran cemetery.
M.W. Wood, of Lahoma, will be the undertaker in charge.
