ENID, OK — Beloved mother, sister and aunt, 93, passed into the presence of our Lord and Savior. She was born in Sand Springs, Okla., and graduated from Garber High School.
Katherine and husband Mack lived in Lamont, partnering with Jack and Lois Lewis of Lewis Grocery. They later moved to Pond Creek, where they operated Mack’s Cafe until retirement.
Upon the death of her husband, she moved to Oklahoma City to live with her daughter, Maxie.
Other survivors include a sister and husband, Lt. Col. Maud and Jim Sullivan of Las Vegas and sister-in-law, Betty Teverbaugh of Merced, Calif.
Preceded in death by three brothers, Mac, Solomon and John Teverbaugh; one sister, Verna Boller; and parents, Marcus and Alda Teverbaugh.
Service officiated by Lt. Col. Jim Sullivan at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Interment to follow in White Cemetery, Hunter, Okla.
Memorials in lieu of flowers to good Shepherd Hospice arranged through Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.
