White Cemetery


The funeral for Betty Hall, 80, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. David Wiggs will officiate. Burial will be in White Ce-metery, Hunter.

She was born Feb. 18, 1927, on the family farm near Hunter to Walter and Lena Schultz Thomas and died Sunday, May 6, 2007, in Enid.

She attended Sunnyside school, Hunter Elementary School and graduated from Hunter High School. She attended Phillips University.

She married Alfred Leon Hall Sept. 14, 1947, in Hunter. After living in Stillwater, they lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Illinois, Georgia and Texas before retiring in Enid. She also lived in Alva for two years.

She was a member of Christian Church, United Methodist Wo-men, other women’s Bible study groups and Sunday school. While in Enid she volunteered at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center and Meals on Wheels.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda Isaak and Shirley Hall; one sister, Ruth Work of Carmen; and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and two sisters.
