White Cemetery


A celebration service for Jill Shaughnessy Anderson, age 54, will be at 4 PM Sunday, July 17, 2005 in the Anderson – Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Dennis Treat officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson – Burris Funeral Home.

She was born to William and Marjorie (Hromas) Shaughnessy on September 16, 1950, in Enid, and passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at her home in Hunter.

She grew up in Enid, graduating from Enid High School. She attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, Arizona, and later Northwestern University (Alva) for four years, graduating with a degree in nursing. On August 14, 1990, she married Larry Anderson, and they made their home in Hunter. She worked as a nurse at St. Mary's and Integris Bass Hospitals, and was the co-owner of A Nurses Care Home Health, Inc. She was also a member of the Outback Trailriders Club.

She is survived by her husband, Larry, of the home, four children, Elizabeth Jacobson of Hoover, Alabama, Angela Anderson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Aubery Anderson of Hunter and Russell Anderson of Enid; one granddaughter, Katie Sanders; and two brothers, Joe Shaughnessy of Bunnell, Florida, and Billy Shaughnessy of Hawaii; and father – in – law and mother – in – law, Ivan and Dorothy Anderson, of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Kremlin Wildhorse Gang.
