Mr. Walter Wells, who has been quite ill the past several months from diabetes, suffered a stroke of paralysis Thursday and passed away Sunday morning without regaining consciousness. He is survived by his wife, one son, Ellis, a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Staerkel, his mother, Mrs. J.M. Clark, and one brother, Arthur Wells, all of this vicinity. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Christian church at Waukomis and burial made in the Waukomis cemetery. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of a host of friends.
