DIED
At her home in Waukomis, May 29, Mary Diantha Cook, born December 13, 1811, in Franklin Co., Vt. At the age of eight years, she moved with her parents to Kendal[?] Co., Ill. She was married to Taylor Stewart December 3, 1866, at Oswego, Ill. To this union was born seven children, four sons and three daughters. She was a faithful wife and loving mother. She leaves a husband, four sons, three daughters, and two brothers to mourn her loss. The entire family was at her bedside during her sickness.
Funeral services were held at the Christian church and the remains were laid to rest in the Waukomis cemetery, May 30.
