Margaret E. HAYES

Margaret Hayes, 85, died in a local hospital Sunday evening after an illness of several months.

She was a native of Missouri and came to Oklahoma with her husband in 1899. They settled on a farm 11 miles East of Waukomis in the Pleasant Valley comunity.

In 1910 the couple moved to Waukomis and lived ther until her husbands death in 1928. Since that time Mrs. Hayes has lived with her daughters, spending an intervals of time with each.
She was a member of the Christian Union Church in Enid. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. I. J. Herrin, Hennessey; Mrs. Elsie Roach, and Mrs. P. M. Collins, both of Enid.

Services will be at 10 a. m. Tuesday at the Waukomis Methodist church with the Rev. O. F. Blackwell officiating. Burial will be in the Waukomis cemetery under the direction of the Henninger-Allen funeral home.
