Graveside service for Patricia Jantz Sloup, 79, a native of Oklahoma, and a resident of Houma, La., will be 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at Sunnyside Cemetery, Lahoma. Pastor David Jones will officiate. Service is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born Jan. 19, 1936, in Lahoma, Okla., to Daniel J. Jantz and Lola M. Dixon and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at her home in Houma, La.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Fredrick L. Sloup; daughters, Debra Y. Sloup, Cynthia S. Boudwin and husband David P. Boudwin, and Lisa M. Sloup; one grandchild, Marcus Paul Boudwin; and brothers, Robert Jantz, Jim Jantz and Roger Jantz.

She was a devoted housewife and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel J. Jantz and Lola M. Dixon, and one brother, Don Jantz.
