PIONEER DIES
A.J. Murrey, aged 59 years, 11 months, and 20 days, a pioneer settler of this section, died early Sunday morning at his home southeast of town. He had been seriously ill since January and in bad health for many years as a result of pulmonary tuberculosis.
He is survived by his widow, one son Walter, a daughter, Mrs. Viola Woodring, three grandchildren, a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon. Rev. James Hobkirk delivered the funeral sermon. Burial was made in the Sunnyside cemetery. Many friends were present for the funeral.
