Sarah Ellen "Ella" LINDLEY HUFFER

Mrs. Ella Huffer, 85 of 2429 West Maine, died at noon today in a local hospital after a lingering illness. A native of Shelby Co. IL, Mrs Huffer came to Oklahoma in 1902 settling at Aline. The family moved to Enid in 1927 and had resided here since. She was a member of the Davis Park Christian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Charles Burnett, Enid, one son J. Paul Huffer, Cherokee: two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Jessie Harmon, Alhambra, Calif. Funeral services are pending at the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Buriel was made in Sunnyside Cemetery.

Sarah Ellen "Ella" Lindley was the daughter of William and Mary Elizabeth MIDDLETON LINDLEY, she married James HUFFER, Aug. 26, 1897 in Shelby Co. IL.
