Jack BOOZE DIES
Enid, OK - A graveside service for Jack D. Booze, 64, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the Sunny Side Cemetery two miles east and 1 1/2 miles south of Lahoma, OK. Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home will conduct the services per his wishes.
Rev. Dan O'Daniel, pastor of the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church, where he regularly attended, will officiate.
The youngest of six children, of Evert C. and Rita C. (Coates) Booze, Jack was born January 21, 1944, during a blizzard two miles north of Lahoma and 1/4 back east, and died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. His dad had to get the snow cleared off the road to the bridge and then bring o'l Dr. Harris (from Drummond) to the house on the tractor, but he arrived a little late. The neighbor lady, Lydia Holts, had already delivered him. Doc did eat breakfast and it was either $25 for the trip or a ham. His dad gave him the ham.
He attended all 12 years of school and graduated from Lahoma. Also, he attended Enid Business College and after graduating from there, he went to work for Schuler Fruit Company in Enid, OK working there until they closed. He spent 21 years at Vance AFB working in the generator shop, having to quit due to ill health in 1998. The cigarettes finally got to him!

The Lord blessed him with a son, Jeff, the best son he could ever hope for. Then he blessed him again with a wonderful grandson, Keagan Kyle Booze, a very talented musician; a step daughter Lori Holman and kids, Levi, Adam, Lacy, Brandy, and Katy; one brother John Booze of Enid, and three sisters; Joan Turner of Ames, Veta Cornish of Lahoma and Patsy Dresser of Enid. Also Lisa (Cordell) Booze, Keagan's mother.

He was preceded in death by a wonderful talented grandson, Keagan Kyle Booze and words could not express his love for him or how much he missed him; a brother, Junior and his mom and dad and three brothers-in-laws. He has cried a million tears over the loss of all of them.
