June 30, 1927 - December 04, 2019

The celebration of life for Anne Hutton Long, 92 year-old Enid resident will be Wednesday, at 11:00AM, January 8, 2020 in St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. Rev. John Toles officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Columbarium. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Anne was born June 30, 1927 in Canyon City, Colorado to Fred and Katherine (Knoch) Hutton and died Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in her home in Enid. She graduated from High School in Casper with the class of 1945. She then attended Hood College in Fredrick, Maryland.

On June 30, 1950 she married Dr, Fred Long in Casper, Wyoming. The couple made their first home in Oklahoma City where Fred was finishing his residency. The family made their home in Great Falls, Montana. After 23 years they moved back to Enid.

Anne belonged to numerous clubs and charitable organizations. She loved to entertain, was a fantastic cook and enjoyed gardening. She most enjoyed serving her community.

She is survived by her son Eric Long and daughter Kate Porter and husband Duncan and grandchildren Erika, Amanda, and Daniel. Also a great-granddaughter Emma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Fred in 2018.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. The family wishes to thank Grace Care for their compassion.
